"Robocop" 2014 - Light Shapes

Here's my current shtik. (is that how u spell it?) I've been really thinking about TURNING light. How light hits surfaces, choosing 'shapes' of color or light.
With that in mind, I did this light/planes study of the face as well as the armour of the new "Robocop" because I'm a nerd like that, and I'm super excited for the movie.

I guess the 'Key' for understanding this one is:
Arrows point in the direction light is falling towards the shadows/darks. Edges signify sharps where the light completely hits an object fully will be a flat color, and will be show by an 'fl'.

If you understood any of that, maybe you'll find this as fascinating as I did.

I hope I'm not just silly for posting this,
Cheers,

Render Practice

On the left is the original, the right is my attempt. Shape just needed to be close, the color and the paint was the focus.

Enjoy my boring practice!
